KS Workshop 2: Impressions from Week 0

So, finally the workshop has started! Emotionally, it has been a rollercoaster ride, starting with being apprehensive about getting enough participants through out August, to being excited about the overwhelming response, to being sad about having to reject late registrations to finally being excited about the great interactions taking place in Week 0 of the KS workshop!

The Week 0 provides participants the opportunity to understand Moodle platform and how to work with the issue of information overload.

In preparation for the workshop, participants were asked to fill out a pre-workshop survey. This short survey aims to gather baseline information on participants' technology infrastructure, use and context so we can adjust our communication channels throughout the workshop. I will post another message about the results of the workshop survey.

Of the 36 registered, over 25 have logged into Moodle space and introduced themselves, commented on each others' questions/introductions and started their personal learning logs.

All in all, I am very optimistic that the participants, and I myself, will have a great opportunity to share and learn from each other.
