This week I am attending the Web4Dev09 Conference held from 11 -13 February in NYC, USA. The executive director of UNICEF, Ann Veneman opened by giving the objetive of the conference: put innovation and technology at the service of humanity.She gave several examples of how UNICEF is using mobile technology in various scenarios such as:
- HIV/AIDS
- Digital doorways
- Origin of the film "slumdon millionaire" was Dr. Mitra's "Hole-in-the-wall" project
